ParticipantI do not know there are many raw 香腸 in Australia.but i know this is not called 香腸 and the proper calling should be SAUSAGE, 腸.
There are so many names such as Salami, Pepperoni they are raw make from beef.
Debercini, Smoker, Octoberfeast, Wieners[beef, pork,chicken,soya], Polish Coil,New Yorker, Summer, Blood and Tea Sausage they mostlty make from Pork, and they are cooked.
Italian Sausage, breakfast sausage are raw make from pork
Most of the cold cuts and sausage sold at the Deli Department in Supermarket[raw and cooked] are read to eat.
臘腸 in Hong Kong means 臘腸 is make from pork or chicken cannot eat raw. Please do not mix 臘腸 with 香腸
I know a little bit about Australia HA HA
